1st December, 2009
Punters thought that Sunday would see Chelsea struggle against Arsenal at Stamford Bridge, but following on from their successful run they managed to impress punters yet again and steal a 3-0 win.
Despite this incredible score, Carlo Ancelotti is being firm with his side, insisting that there is a lot of room for improvement and has explained that they will focus on these to ensure that their next game is perfect.
With this in mind it seems that Chelsea, who are currently at the top of the Premier League table, 5 points ahead of rivals Manchester United, has a very good chance of winning the title. In addition, it seems that the team have a lot of hope that Ancelotti is beginning to live up to the success that previous Blue’s boss Mourinho.
Didier Drogba explained, “At Chelsea, my first two seasons were really good, the team bond was really strong. Now this one is a little bit like it was during those years when we were champions under Mourinho.” The 31 year old went on to say, “It is true that Manchester United is still there. We were in their position last year, behind and chasing. It is very difficult and now they have to come and catch us.”
