Brawn GP drivers Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello prepare to do battle at the Brazilian Grand Prix this Sunday.
With only two races left until the end of the season, Button has admitted that he is more than ready to take a cautious approach with the world championship within his grasp. As the Briton currently has a 14 point lead over his team mate. A place on the podium would capture the title for the 29-year-old. However Button’s form has not been fantastic in the second half of the season as he has not won a Grand Prix since Turkey in June.
Button has said he will not take on risks that could potentially shatter his dream of being champion of the world and put the onus on his rivals. He told BBC Sport "It's different for those chasing, they have to be more aggressive," he argued.
"I don't want to just finish in the points - but there are situations I don't want to get myself into."
Button will want to finish the job off in Brazil and not have to leave it until the final race of the season in Abu Dhabi. Also there is the incentive of beating Barrichello in his own back yard and to gain revenge after the Brazilian beat him at Silverstone.
Barrichello also told BBC Sport "Hopefully I can win because I need it and I want it so badly. I have all the possibilities to have the best race of my life and that is what I plan to do."
To win the Brazilian Grand Prix Jenson Button is 14/1 with bet 365. Barrichello is 15/2 with bet 365. Vettel is favourite at 9/4 with Blue sq.
