Bookies predict a red and blue final for the Champions League this season

16th September, 2009

After two predicted wins last night for Chelsea and Manchester United, it looks as though the two teams will be meeting in the Champions League final this season.

Chelsea had a lucky win due to an early goal in the second half as the rest of the game saw them struggle to get the ball near the net, while Paul Scholes is to thanks for Manchester United’s win.

Chelsea is 5/1 to be crowned champions of Europe whilst Manchester United has slightly longer odds of 7/1. Arsenal and Liverpool appear to me outsiders being backed at 9/1 and 10/1 with Bet365.

Stan James is offering odds of 3/1 that we will see an all British final and 11/10 that the crowned winner will be a British Team.

Other odds that bookies are offering at this stage is Barcelona at 4/1 to take the title making them favourites with Coral and that is before their opening match tonight, so it seems tonight’s game should be reasonably easy for them! Real Madrid follows closely and looks in with a good chance being backed at 9/2 with Ladbrokes.
