Birmingham v Newcastle Betting, Odds and Preview
17th March, 2008
Birmingham welcome Newcastle United to St Andrews this evening in what Steve Harper has called the club’s ‘biggest game’ in recent history.
"The next two fixtures, this one and the one against Fulham, are the biggest in our recent history," said Harper. "We have got to get a minimum of four points from them. We cannot afford to lose either of them."
Newcastle have only managed to win two points since Keegan arrived at the club two months ago, and the side have not managed a win since 15th December. The club are just three points above the relegation zone, with Birmingham two points behind them. The club then face fellow strugglers Fulham, who got a cruicial win at the weekend.
Birmingham are 13/10 favourites with VC Bet, whilst Newcastle can be grabbed for 12/5 with Boylesports according to our free live odds comparison service. Newcastle remain 4/1 to get relegated.
