It was a perfect weekend for Alex Ferguson, United fans or any one associated with the club after they crushed Chelsea 3-0 at Old Trafford on Sunday Evening. Former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho watched in the stands as his old side slumped to a defeat at the hands of a magnificent United side.
The English, European and World Champions needed a win on Sunday and boy did they get it! First it was Vidic with a stooping header which broke the dead lock in first half injury time.
United came out in the second half and continued there dominance with Rooney scoring a second after a superb cross from Patrice Eva on the left wing. Chelsea's heads immediately dropped after this and Berbatov completed the victory with a neat finish from a Ronaldo free kick.
So how did the bookies react to this crushing blow to the once title favourites? Well Chelsea are now 3rd Favorites with most bookies priced at around 3/1 to take the title back to Stamford Bridge. As a result of Sunday's result United are now favourites to win retain their trophy priced at 5/6 with Betfred.
After a disappointing result and Performance on Saturday Liverpool are second favourites to win the title for the first time in 19 years priced at 11/4 with Paddy Power.
Aston Villa continue to impress after another 3 points against West Brom on Saturday and are now 25/1 to win their first Premier League title, when at the beginning of the season they were 150/1.
Arsenal are priced at around 33/1 with Sky Bet.
United play Wigan tomorrow evening, with Chelsea hosting Stoke on Saturday and Liverpool face Everton on Monday Evening.
