Betting odds see Tottenham soar to the top of the table
20th August, 2009
Sky Bet has shortened Tottenham’s odds from 12/1 to 9/1 to top the table after their 5-1 victory over Hull on Wednesday.
A spokesperson from Sky Bet recommends a good bet and explained, “Spurs face a tough challenge mid-September with successive games against Manchester United and Chelsea but they have several winnable fixtures either side and could be a good outside bet at 9/1 to be top after ten.”
In contrast, Manchester United has seen Sky Bet lengthen their odds from 3/1 to 11/2 after they lost out to Burnley. But rivals Chelsea have had a fantastic start, winning both their games making them 4/5 to be ahead of the game after ten games.
Sky Bet have lots of other great betting opportunities including next player to take the Golden Boot title and since Jermain Defoe’s impressive hat-trick on Wednesday his odds have shortened from 20/1 to 8/1.
