Betting odds on the next football manager to be charged with improper misconduct

7th September, 2009

Manager of Tottenham Rafael Benitez has just been charged by the football association for improper misconduct following his latest reaction to the referee at the Liverpool vs. Tottenham game on the 16th August where Liverpool won 2-1 and because of the uproar caused Sky Bet are now offering odds on who they think will be next to lose their cool!

It seems that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is next in line after a few angry comment and tension between the referee and himself at a recent game. A spokesperson from Sky Bet explained, “Wenger never shies away from defending his players when embroiled in controversial incidents, such as the recent diving polemic involving Eduardo and he could be a good bet to be next to feel the wrath of the FA.” In addition to his over protective side, Manchester united have pleaded that fans stop their aggressive chants towards Arsenal and it seems that the constant dislike aimed towards the team is taking its affect on the manager.

After Wenger, Phil Brown is next in line with odds of 13/2 as he has already been charged with improper conduct last April after making some aggressive comments to the referee.
