Betting odds for the final Celebrity Big Brother
16th December, 2009
With the final series of Celebrity Big Brother approaching very quickly, the rumours of who will be entering the house and who will be winning have emerged and bookies are offering all the latest odds.
There are rumours that snooker player Ronnie O’Sullivan will enter the house, but there are doubts as the show will clash with snooker’s Masters and there are concerned that Ronnie would not want to be trapped in the house at the same time. However, if he does enter, he is favourite to win the show priced at 2/1 with Paddy Power.
There has also been a lot of speculation that 1990’s rapper MC Hammer will happily be imprisoned in the house and he is priced at 6/1 to win if he does. In addition, Baywatch star Pamela Anderson is also rumoured to enter the house as she is currently in the UK acting in a West End show and is thought to have been offered £250,000. Online bookies are offering a price of 4/1 second favourite that she wins if she goes on the show.
It is no surprise that producers have tried to get hold of John and Edward Grimes from this year’s reality show the X-Factor and have reportedly been offered £270,000 to enter the house next month. A spokesman explained the advantage of obtaining the twins saying, “The first TV deal that they take is really crucial as it will literally make or break them in terms of their career so they have to be cautious about what they agree to do. Some of the things they've been offered would turn them into total laughing stocks, but Celebrity Big Brother is definitely a possibility."
As it is the last Celebrity Big Brother, there have been a lot of rumours that the number of housemates will be reduced to 10 so that the show can spend more money on approaching and successfully getting better celebrities to enter the house to send the show out with a bang.
A spokesman from Channel 4 explained, “Previous CBB series have suffered because there have been too many celebs who were just not that famous. Producers want the final series to be the best ever - and are determined to push the boat out by signing up the biggest names they can."
Channel 4 has confirmed that the seventh series of the show will commence on Sunday 3rd January 2010. It has also been announced that Davina McCall will be hosting the show for the final year as well as the Big Brother’s Big Mouth which is aired twice a week.
Other odds that Paddy Power is offering include Alex Reid to win at 14/1, Boy George at 10/1 and Richard Bacon at 12/1. For more Big Brother betting then sign up to Paddy Power and get yourself a FREE £10 bet!
