Betting odds for the X-Factor : Week 3

9th September, 2009

X-Factor is well under way now and we have seen some fantastic contestants. Despite new blossoming talent, bookies are still backing Danyl Johnson as favourite but there are some singers from week 3 that will prove tough competition for the ‘Sex On Fire’ singer.

From this week it seems that Lucie Jones looks set to head straight to the live shows after she gave a breathtaking performance of ‘I Will Always Love you’. The Welsh singer chose a very challenging song and pulled it off, impressing all four of the judges and the bookies too it seems, with them all backing her as second favourite to win at 7/1 with Sportingbet and Ladbrokes.

Alongside Lucie was Jade Fubara who also dazzled the judges with her performance and can be backed at 7/1 with Paddy Power, but is as long as 12/1 with Ladbrokes, which defiantly seems worth a bet as all the other bookies are strongly in favour of her!

Danyl Johnson is still the contestant who is leading the way and has set a very high standard for all new entries. He is backed at 7/2 with Sportingbet and Blue Square and it seems almost certain that he will go all the way and it is very likely he could be the winner of X-Factor 2009.
