Betting odds for Strictly Come Dancing Final

18th December, 2009

This weekend is the final of Strictly Come Dancing 2009 and having had a very eventful series it looks set to be an action packed final! The world’s largest betting exchange Betfair brings you all the best odds for this weekend’s final.

The two finalists Ricky Whittle and Chris Hollins will go head to head in an attempt to be crowned the winner.

Ex-Hollyoaks actor Ricky Whittle has had a very hard time recently and after he was arrested there were concerns that he would lose support from the public. After the incident that happened 3 weeks ago, the actor just continued doing what he loves and showed his passion and devotion to the show without making a fuss, and although it has taken time, it appears that the hard work has finally paid off as bookies are making him the clear favourite to win the show, priced at 16/25.

Former favourite Chris Hollins managed to steal the bookies attention a week ago, but now that the public have forgiven Whittle, Hollins odds have drifted from 5/6 to 11/8 with Betfair and it seems that he has his work cut out if he wants to steal the win this weekend.

A spokesman from Betfair explained, “Ricky has undoubtedly been the best dancer throughout and having seemed to have regained the public’s trust, our punters are confident he’ll now win the show.”
