After 9 months of excitement and anticipation, at 2.20pm yesterday afternoon, the England footballer aged 24 and TV presenter 23, welcomed their new baby boy into their family and Rooney Junior is already causing a lot of commotion amongst the public and adoring fans!
The birth of the childhood sweethearts first baby has grabbed everyone’s attention and after spending much of the pregnancy arguing about names, deciding on Kai which is meant to mean ‘Keeper of the Keys’ in Welsh. It was reported this morning that mother and baby are healthy, so securing that in mind the bookies just couldn’t help themselves but to offer odds on the future career of Rooney Junior.
Ladbrokes is offering 33/1 that the new born baby boy, named Kai Wayne Rooney will follow in his father’s footballer’s footsteps and head to Manchester United with the same odds that he will head to Manchester City, but it is priced at shorter odds of 25/1 that he will go to Everton. Odds for other clubs include 66/1 for Liverpool and 50/1 to play for England.
A spokesperson from Ladbrokes explained, “If Rooney Junior inherits a fraction of his dad’s skills then a career in football looks nailed on.” It looks as though a small bet with Ladbrokes could pay off in a few years to come!
