Arsenal vs. Bolton betting odds

20th January, 2010

Tonight sees Arsenal entertain Bolton in the Barclays Premier League and Arsenal is leading the betting market for the match.

Although bookies are confident that Arsenal will steal a win in tonight’s game, manager Arsene Wenger does have concerns about the fitness of his team. Although Theo Walcott and Denilson are in the line up tonight, the Gunners will still be missing Aaron Ramsey, Sami Nasri and Fran Merida.

Wenger explained, “It is strange because the more injuries you get, you then seem to get more because you always play the same players. Also, you rush some players back and then you have more chance of them getting injured again.”

Online bookies 888 Sport are offering a price of 1/5 that Arsenal leads the game, with a draw at 5/1 and a win from Bolton backed at 12/1.

In the First Goalscorer market Andrey Arshavin 5/1, Cesc Fabregas at 11/2, Theo Walcott at 8/1 and Tomas Rosicky backed at 9/1.

Online bookies Sky Bet are also offering odds on Arsene Wenger staying at Arsenal after it was revealed that he is taking some time to consider his decision carefully to sign a new deal with the club. Sky bet are offering a price of 3/1 that he will still be managing the Gunners in January 2014 and 6/1 for the Frenchman to leave between 1st July 2010 and 31st December 2010.

A spokesman from Sky Bet explained, “Wenger is Arsenal’s most successful manager in terms of trophies won and it would be a surprise to see the Frenchman bow out of the game within the next 3 years. He has 18 months left on his old contract and the majority of the Arsenal faithful will be hopeful to see Wenger sign a new deal.”
