Alex Ferguson Attacked At Train Station

British Transport Police have confirmed that Manchester United boss Alex Ferguson was attacked on Monday afternoon at Euston Station. After travelling from Manchester, a drunk man 'punched him in the groin' and chanted at him as he lay doubled up on the floor in pain. He also sustained injuries to the leg, but 'was not badly hurt'.

The attacker also made racist remarks to the Transport Police and now faces three separate counts and could face 6 months in jail. In line with policy, the man was not identified. Despite the attack, Ferguson was able to continue to a charity event for victions of the 9/11 terrorists attacks.
