188Bet partner with Chelsea Football club

There have been plenty of sports bookmakers diving at the chance to get signed up with football clubs to start the season, we have already heard of Betfair working with Manchester United and now rivals Chelsea have just signed up with 188Bet.
The Asian sportsbook has signed to become Chelsea’s ‘official betting partner’ as well as only last week signing with Aston Villa FC. Also this season they have begun relationships with Bolton Wanderers and Wigan football club.
The deal with Chelsea is set to run for a minimum of 3 years with ideas for a string of marketing campaigns already in place, including special promotions and discounts for Chelsea supporters.
A spokesperson from 188bet stated their goal from the partnership explaining, “Chelsea’s reach throughout the World will allow 188BET to fully establish itself throughout the UK and across all key markets.”
Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon justified that, “Chelsea had a number of companies from this sector bidding to be our official betting partner but 188BET were the right choice, both financially and in terms of their ambitions and aspirations globally.”
