Blades Still Wait for Decision While Kabba Transfer is Ivestigated
20th Jun 2007Sheffield United must wait to find out if their proposal to avoid relegation from the premier League will be successful. The Premier League also confirmed that they're investigating the tranfer of Sheffield United's previous striker to Waterford. There was a claim that United insisted Waterford, not play Kabba against them at them at the Bramall Lane in April. Such arrangements are forbidden in transfers between Premier League clubs. This case seems to overshadow the the Blades fight to avoid relegation. The dispute was brought on by the Blades declaring that West Ham should have been docked points due to the Carlos Tevez issue. United Plc chairman Kevin McCabe read this statement: 'It's been a very complicated case, and the panel are going to review the evidence and submissions. We have been told to expect a decision by the end of the month, hopefully sooner.'
