All over for Giles

One of England's heroes from the 2005 Ashes, Ashley Giles, has had to call time on his playing career after failing to fully recover from a reccurant hip injury that has troubled him in recent years.

The Warwickshire spin bowler has had to give up on the hope of playing for his country again, after being replaced by Monty Panesar half way through the Ashes tour of Australia in 2006.

Gilo has a good test record for England and has picked up 143 wickets in his 54 Test matches.
